Guidelines for Country/Region Reports The 16th World Blind Union - Asia Pacific Regional Massage Seminar

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in The 16th World Blind Union Asia-Pacific Regional Massage Seminar which will be held on September 7-9, 2023 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
 
The theme of the seminar: “Promoting Sustainable Collaboration on Research, Training and Service Quality on Massage”. Please kindly use the following Guidelines for the Country/Region Reports:
1. General Data of the Country/Region
 Total population
 Total population of the Persons with Disability, % or number of visually impaired
2. Livelihood and employment status of Visually Impaired Masseurs
 What is the population of visually-impaired masseurs in the country/region?
 The ratio of male/female (specific number of persons, if yes)
 Average monthly income
 How many are self-employed?
 How many massage group/shop? Individual or Cooperative ownership?
 What are the sources of funds in establishing the massage business?
3. Blind massage training centers and health care services of the blind
4. General policies for masseurs? Any specific policy for visually impaired massage practitioners?
5. The recovery and development of massage services post COVID-19 pandemic.
Important notifications:
 Length of report: Limited to 1,000 words
 Time for presentation: Maximum 10 minutes
 Country/Region reports must be submitted in English in MS Word format, Times New Roman, font size 14 Presentation combined with PowerPoint.
 Country/region reports must be submitted by June 15, 2023
